Champions League 2008/2009 Final Review – Barcelona Against Manchester United
Champions league is the best soccer competition in Europe. But only the country that have big tradition in soccer can represent more team. Such as England, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, etc.
In this article, I will review about Champions League 2008/2009 final last 27 may 2009. Soccer fans in the world said this is the ideal final. Which Barcelona is the best team in Spain, Barcelona is the champion in spanish league, and have an impressive journey to reach the top of the league. And as well as Manchester United, they are the champion in EPL.
When we talk about it, we will remember with four person, They are Sir Alex Ferguson and C. Ronaldo in Man Utd side. Pep Guardiola and Messi in Barca side. They are the key person in their team. As we know C. Ronaldo has a huge influence in Man Utd nowadays, he has a lot of goal for Man Utd this season. And of course Sir Alex is the people who build Man Utd from down to the top team just like now. Do you know that Pep guardiola doesn’t have any coaching experience before he coach Barca? But wonderful, he can bring his team to the final.
Messi is wonderful player I think. You know that he play like his senior legend Maradona. Very impressive player.

Barca young player Bojan Krkic did a last touch for making the fifth goal when Barca win 5 – 0 against FC Basel.
In the first leg, Man Utd had a draw game against Internazionale Milan, but in the second leg Man Utd win with 2- 0. Barcelona has a challenge from Lyon in 16 phase of Champions League, play draw in the first leg, but in the second leg two goals from Thierry Henry made Barca win 5 – 2. Although the 2004 Champions League winner Porto didn’t reputed as a strong team when they played in the quarter final in Old Trafford, and fared well coerce draw 2 – 2. In Nou Camp, Bayern Munich lost their expectation after Messi quickly made two goal and made Barca go ahead 4 – 0 in the first half.
After win with aggregate 7 -5 against Liverpool, Chelsea visited Barca in Camp Nou and fared well coerce draw without goal. Man Utd Vs Arsenal in other semifinal, according to aggregate, Man Utd win with 4 – 1. While Chelsea had an opportunity firm will go to the final with United, it flabbergasted by Andres Iniesta goal in the last minutes.
So FC Barcelona And Manchester United go to final in Rome, Italy. Finally the ideal final that most of soccer enthusiasts expect happen. Like other final match, this final match also had a tighten game. But from beginning, Barcelona Seems to be keep the game. Until Samuel Eto’o made a score in 10 minutes of the game. Man Utd was bustled by three Barcelona’s midfielder Iniesta, Xavi, and off course Leonel Messi. And finally Messi make a score through his header after got passed from his teammate, 2 – 0 for FC Barcelona. Congratulations.
